Kankakee Valley Park District

The Kankakee Valley Park District offers several adult programs. Call the park district office or visit the park district website for dates, times and locations of these programs.

Are you looking for a place to hold your family gathering, wedding, surprise party or shower? KVPD has the location for you! Several locations, to be exact. Whether you need a pavilion or a room, the park district has you covered! KVPD has facilities available for rent in several parks throughout the district. One is just right for you! A deposit and rental fee are required for all renters. For more information, contact the park district office.

Ice Valley Centre Ice Arena is a family fun zone. A competitive ice arena, featuring an NHL rink, offering programming to advanced and beginner skaters alike. Including learn to skate, figure skating, intro to hockey, youth hockey, adult hockey, curling, drop-in hockey and free style ice lessons.

The Kankakee Valley Park District has 33 parks with a total of 600+ acres of land for a total of 54 properties. Facilities include a vita course, 5 Field houses, Civic Auditorium, marina, 13 ball diamonds, 15 football fields, 24 playgrounds, 15 basketball courts, 24 tennis courts,3 pickleball courts, 5 boat landings, a bandshell, and 25 recreational groups and clubs.

We have a spring, summer, and fall softball league. It's already time to start putting a team together for the Kankakee Valley Park District's softball league. This year, we will be offering a men's, women's, and coed league. All information will be available at the park district office at 815-939-1311.
