Services
Children's Advocacy Center (CAC)
Provides an interdisciplinary, coordinated systems approach to the investigation and prosecution of child sexual abuse/serious child physical abuse cases. The CAC Forensic Interviewer conducts the Victim Sensitive Interview at the Center and the CAC Case Manager provides advocacy services (referral for medical, counseling and legal services) to the child and family.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
CASA provides trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system. They investigate the child's case and make independent recommendations to the court as to what is in the best interests of the child. Advocates work with all parties and agencies in the case but represent the child's best interests.
