Blessings in a Backpack

Providing Weekend Nourishment to School Children on the Federal Free and Reduced Meal Program for approximately $110 per student per year. Volunteers distribute pre-packed, ready-to-eat, kid-friendly, nutritious, non-perishable and easy-to-prepare food items to students in sixteen schools in Kankakee County.
