Services
Long Term Care Ombudsman
The Long-Term Care Ombudsman program receives, investigates, and works to resolve complaints made by or on behalf of residents in long-term care facilities and ensures resident rights are being upheld. This includes nursing homes, assisted living, and supportive living facilities. The Long-Term Care Ombudsman program is entirely resident directed, meaning that Ombudsman working on complaints will take direction from and advocate on behalf of the residents. The Ombudsman staff have a regular presence in every facility and visit with residents to inform them of their rights.
Specialized Information and Referral
We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and their families by providing information about and access to a variety of services in their community, including senior dining programs, home delivered meals, senior centers, transportation, in-home respite care, legal assistance, elder rights programs, and senior employment programs.
