Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery

When the 982-acre cemetery site is fully developed it will provide 400,000 burial spaces. The cemetery grounds are open daily during daylight hours. Initial construction developed approximately 150 acres and has space available to accommodate casketed and cremated remains. To schedule a burial for a veteran who has passed, please fax all discharge documentation to the National Cemetery Scheduling Office at 1-866-900-6417 or scan and email the papers to NCA.Scheduling@va.gov with the person's name you're requesting burial benefits for in the subject line. Then follow-up with a phone call to 1-800-535-1117. Office hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM.
